Is the bee a positive symbol for all cultures or just in the western world?

Does anyone know if the bee has positive associations outside of the Western world, in particular for Asian cultures? For example, for me it represents work, creative activity, team work, busyness, cooperation, as well as good taste and health thanks to their honey.Is the bee a positive symbol for all cultures or just in the western world?
you are the first person i have ever heard associate the bee with culture -- i would not call it a symbol for the western world!!!
