Bee sting on arm but the swelling on face?

a friend got stung by a bee on the forearm but his cheek has the swelling. the swelling is minor. is this something to watch out for?Bee sting on arm but the swelling on face?

is he allergic? i would get this checked out asap, it could be that he is suffering allergic reaction which can be pretty dangerous is left to take care of itself.......
