I am allergic to bee stings. I haven't been stung in years but it seemed to me that the effects took just a few minutes. The pain of course was immediate but the swelling and intense itching took just a little while. Honey bees sting once but wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets can nail you over and over.


Anyway, different people react differently. Some aren't bothered while others die. Call a dermatologist and make an appointment to go in and get tested for allergies. Find out what you are allergic to and then get treated. It could save your life.





As far as animals are concerned you will have to call a vet. But bears seem to be immune to it as they are always tearing apart bee hives.If someone is allergic to bee stings, or wasp stings would it take a few hours for the allergy to kick in,?
i used to see doctor each time stung by bee, whole body rashes and hives.





then amazingly, my granny asked me to use vinegar and it work.





i no longer go to doctor when got stung, i take vinegar for the wound instead, and it's work.

No, its usually in minutes. Some people have been known to go in to analytic shock and die within 20 mins!.
In general it is immediate and this type of reaction can be life threatening to some people. I don't think animals have the same reaction.

Havent heard of animals with allergies to bee/wasp stings, but i know quite a few people who are allergic to bee stings, and it can be fatal in minutes, yet with others it can be a while. Depends on the person and the strength of the allergy.

My fried has an allergic reaction to be stings and so forth, when she gets stung it dosent take long for her to start getting marks and other things but that is just her, I am not for sure.

It would take a few minutes for a full-blown reaction, but that can lead to Anaphylactic shock, which can be fatal, however, if this is the case the person would most likely be carrying an Epipen (adrenaline injection).
