I'm in it, and the only reason I'm doing it is because I think it might look good on an application, if I want to apply for something (like college or a special highschool)

I think college should be coming up for you first, so there you could of course mention it. If you麓re done with university and apply for your first job as a surgeon, I am afraid Spelling Bees won麓t do the trick. ;)
